A Paranormal Field Guide

How To Make Holy Water And Fight Demons

How To Make Holy Water And Fight Demons

September 6, 2016 Jacob 'Jake' Rice

Sometimes, you need to make your own holy water to fight against paranormal entities like demons. And it’s easier than you think.

Let’s be clear: Holy water can protect you against demons, but it doesn’t work on ghosts and spirits.

How to make (relic) holy water

  1. Get some water. It doesn’t matter what kind (tap, purified, Brita…it’s all good).
  2. Put the water into a clean container (again, it doesn’t really matter what it is: flask, vase, mixing bowl, etc.)
  3. Drop a pinch of kosher sea salt into it.
  4. There are two options to finish the holy water:
  • Use a holy relic like rosary, a cross, St. Benedict’s coin, another symbol with Christ;
  • Recite Psalm 103.

That’s all there is to it. Remember, you can use a relic OR recite the psalm. You don’t have to do both. As for the relic, you could have a priest bless it to give it some extra protective power. This kind is the simplest—and fastest—way to make your own batch to fight pesky demons.

Other Holy Water Types

You don’t have to make your own holy water. There are different options, although they’re not always easy to get or make.

Saint Holy Water

This type of holy water is found in holy wells associated with famous Catholic saints. The most famous well is in Lourdes, France. This means you’d have to travel to a well to take the holy water. Not very practical.

Gregorian Holy Water

This is the traditional kind of holy water. It has ashes, salt and wine as well as the holy water. It’s generally used to consecrate altars, but it would work against demons.

You could also run into a strong demon, and your relic holy water won’t help. You’d need to get something stronger, holy oil.

That’s a post for another time.

Your strength is through faith and ability to believe in that which you cannot see. A forgiving heart , a clear conscience and a relationship with Christ would do you well to make effective Holy Water against the powers of darkness. Agape Love knows no fear !
